Training
She studied at the Pretoria Technikon.
Career
Joined PACT in 1981 until 1986.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
She appeared in The Front Page, Na die Front, Woyzeck, Uncle Vanya and Graswewenaar in 1986, Uncle Vanya, Chekhov in Yalta, Wild Honey and in Ibsen's Pophuis. She played the role of Magda in Clare Stopford's production of The Last Trek.
Moira Blumenthal's association with the Sydney Theatre Company continued with Two Weeks with the Queen (adapted by Mary Morris) which was produced in Johannesburg and Pretoria in 1995
She has appeared in the television series Sea Tiger, Barney Barnato and the film An African Dream.
