The film

A children’s adventure set in South Africa, the film chronicles the bond between a boy and his cheetah. The two have been pals for a long time, so when the cat is taken and placed in a traveling circus, the boy does all he can to free it.

Written by C.F. Beyers-Boshoff, directed by Tim Spring with Mark Hopley, Karen de Kock, Dale Cutts, Erica Rogers, Bess Finney, Denis Smith, Valerie Dunlop and Delia Sheppard

Cinematography by Ivo Pellegrini, film released in Afrikaans (as Vang vir My 'n Droom) and English (as Catch me a Dream) in 1974.

Released in the United States as The Spots on My Leopard and in West Germany as Eine wahre Liebeversions.
