Gina/Gezina is a one-act play by Peter Baxter

The original text

A stage adaptation by Peter Baxter of an award-winning youth novel, Gezina en die Bruin Wind ("Gezina and the brown wind") by Maretha Maartens (1945-), a story about the Boer War and its impact on women and children. The novel was published by Haum-Literêr in 1985 and apparently translated into English by Anna Jonker as Ring Around the Moon, published in 1978).

A copy of the typed of the dramatised version, renamed was found in the Drama Department archive, University of Stellenbosch in 2022.
