Gina/Gezina is a one-act play by Peter Baxter

The original text

A stage adaptation by Peter Baxter of an award-winning youth novel, Gezina en die Bruin Wind ("Gezina and the brown wind") by Maretha Maartens (1945-), a story about the Boer War and its impact on women and children. The novel was published by Haum-Literêr in 1985 and apparently translated into English by Anna Jonker as Ring Around the Moon, published in 1987.(This not to be confused with the Anouilh play known as Ring Round the Moon.

A copy of the typed of the dramatised version, renamed was found in the Drama Department archive, University of Stellenbosch in 2022.
