Voor Dit Gebeur ("Before it happens ") is a one-act play with music by Peter Snyders.
Contents
The original text
Written in “Kaaps”, or "Cape Afrikaans, it is a play about municipal workers and the effect on them of finding an abandoned baby in a drain.

Performance history in South Africa
First performed in the Joseph Stone Auditorium by the Belhar Amateur Dramavereniging in 1975. Also done by Unison Players in 1977 and 1978. Later expanded to become Die Drein.
