The short story by Henriette Grové was published in the collections Tema en Tegniek and Teks en Tegniek by Academica.
The story was adapted in a script by Stephan Bouwer, who also produced and directed the drama for SABC TV, with Karen de Kock, Annelisa Weiland, Wilma Stockenström, Johan de Jager, Koos Bronkhorst, Rita Ehlers and Pieter Brand. First broadcast on 24 May 1976.
