Power is a performance piece by Jaco Bouwer (1973-).

The original text

Power was developed by Bouwer, working with Dutch and South African students, and was then first performed at the 08 Feest on 7 June, 2008, as part of a trilogy of short experimental plays (along with Guests by Wannie de Wijn and Insomnia by Jaco Bouwer).

2008: Power was again performed as part of a trilogy of short experimental plays (along with Guests by Wannie de Wijn and Insomnia by Mike van Graan) at the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown, the 969 Festival in Braamfontein and in Cape Town. The cast consisted of Bob Schwarze, Hayley Roberts and a number of students.
