Renate has appeared on stage in Verwagtings (KKNK 2007), as Tyler in Some Girl(s) (2007), MacBeki (Pieter-Dirk Uys, 2009), Suddenly the Storm (2017).
In 2009 she landed a role in the American sci-fi series The Prisoner, shot in Namibia.
