Biography

Born in India to a musical family, educated in Pietermaritzburg at Woodlands High School, then attended the University of Durban-Westville. He also had an MSc (Mathematics) from Stuttgart Hochschule, Germany.

He was married to the actress Brenda Radloff.

He wrote the music for For Love of The Nightingale, Hamlet, At the Edge, Jimbo, Ikhaya, Coming Home. and a number of productions presented at the Asoka Theatre at UDW.

Perhaps one of the most enduring of his works was the theme music of the daily soap, Isidingo.
