Tafelberg (or Table Mountain) usually refers to the iconic mountain dominating the city of Cape Town in South Africa, a declared World Heritage Site.
Many companies, literary works and other entities have used the name over the years, particularly in its Afrikaans form - Tafelberg. (for example, we often come across the well-known company Tafelberg Uitgewers (Tafelberg Publishers)
The mountain has also featured as the topic and/or setting for numerous stories, plays, films and the like.
