Johnny is nie dood nie is a play by Malan Steyn. It is a reworking of the earlier play Eet Alles.

The original text
The play is about a group of friends who come together after the death of Johannes Kerkorrel, reminiscing about the Voëlvry Movement [1] of the 1980s.

Translations and adaptations
The script of the film with the same name, written by Christiaan Olwagen, is based on the play, although it was largely rewritten.
