Don Leonard (19*-). Actor.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He starred in John Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men which John Higgins and Joe Stewardson staged at the Lake Theatre in 1975. It also starred Stewardson, Ken Gampu and Diane Appleby.
He became really famous as a comedian in a number of South African films, including My Naam is Dingetjie. He also had a role in the 1969 film Katrina.
