Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Assistant stage manager for Suddenly at Home, My Fat Friend, Two and Two Make Sex (in which he had a role, early 1970s) and Who Saw Him Die?. He was the stage manager for Murder in Mind and Berlin to Broadway.

He produced The Killing of Sister George (1979), The Monkey Walk, The Gin Game, Beautiful Thing, Rattle of a Simple Man, Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris (2010).

He wrote Sugar and Spice.

A director, with Sean van Zyl, of Afro Asia Events, a company theatrical conduit between the South East Asia region and Southern Africa specializing in intercultural exchange of plays.

Together with Neil Lovegrove he presented Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show in 1992 and Willy Russell’s Shirley Valentine at the Victory Theatre in 1993.

Awards, etc

In 2001 his production Annie was nominated for Gauteng regional Vita Awards in several categories.
