However, later the press refer to it as a translation of G.B. Shaw's Mrs Warren's Profession. Later the name was changed to Die Oorwinnaar ("The Conqueror"). See also Mrs Warren's Profession.


According to a list of productions by de Groot featuring André Huguenet in the Oedipus Rex theatre programme (1956), The Climax is ascribed to French playwright Paul Géraldy (1885-1983)[1].
