Die Oorwinnaar ("The conqueror") can refer to at least two Afrikaans dramatic works:

Die Oorwinnaar: a play produced by Paul de Groot

A play produced Paul de Groot under this title and taken on a national tour after its opening in Potchefstroom in 1932, with De Groot and Yvonne de Morlay.

It appears to have been a version of a play called Die Verliefde Indringer ("The Amorous Intruder")

Die Oorwinnaar: a radio play by Roy Niemann (1935-2000)

The play

The drama takes the form of a conversation between an unnamed man and his former wife, who meet by chance at an airport. During the course of their conversation it becomes clear that the man had committed adultery and admitted it in court, while his wife had to listen to it silently. So, ostensibly he emerged as the victor in court. However, she was expecting a child at the time and although the man thought the child was his, he now has to hear that it was not so.

The text was published in Hoorspelkeur by Tafelberg Uitgewers in 1983.
