Kennedy's Children [1] is a play by American playwright Robert Patrick. The play is set in a New York bar in which a disparate collection of people reflect on their lives in the wake of the collapsed American dream that followed the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
Performance history in South Africa
First produced in South Africa at The Space (Cape Town) 12 June to 2 August 1975, directed and lit by Robert Patrick, with Yvonne Bryceland, George Duffy, Andrea Fine, Ethwyn Grant, Blaise Koch, Jonathan Sherwood and Maralin Vanrenen. Design by Robert Patrick and George Duffy and design and stage management by Biddy Edelberg.
In Johannesburg it was done by The Company at the Chelsea Theatre in Hillbrow, in April 1975. Direction and decor by Leonard Schach. In the cast: Bess Finney, John Higgins, Lynn Hooker, Erica Rogers, John Rogers.
In 199* it was again done in Muizenberg in Cape Town, at Eauver the Top (directed by Mark Graham).
Grahamstown Festival (year?) directed by Nico de Beer.
