Frank Marcus (30 June 1928 – 5 August 1996) was a British playwright, best known for The Killing of Sister George. His plays were noted for their strong parts for female actors.

A production in Cape Town in 1966 starred Valerie Miller.

The play was also produced by Colin Law in 1979. Performed in The Studio, Baxter Theatre, it was directed by Kenneth Hendel, starring Valerie Dunlop, Diana Cox, Moira Winslow, Marjorie Gordon.
