DRAMSOC (in some cases DRAMASOC) is the acronym for Dramatic Society and popular as a name for theatrical societies in various parts of the country. Thus one finds Dramsoc Bellville Training College, Dramsoc Hewat, Dramsoc East London, Dramsoc/Dramasoc Worcester, Dramsoc University of the Western Cape, and Dramsoc Lavis, etc.
