Training
Completed a BA Drama at the Stellenbosch University.
Career
She became a founding member of Pieter Fourie Genootskap, touring the country with Pieter Fourie’s plays. Later worked for The Space and the Market Theatre in the 1970s. Then she worked for CAPAB??* in ****.
Besides being a professional stage actress, drama teacher and radio presenter for the past 30 years, she also had years of experience in theatre, radio, film, TV and voice work in both Afrikaans and English. Became nationally known in a number of TV series, most notably as “Nora Naude” in the long running soap Egoli.

She had roles in plays such as Pieter-Dirk Uys’s Selle Ou Storie (1974, 1975), God’s Forgotten (Pieter-Dirk Uys, 1975/1976), Karnaval (Pieter-Dirk Uys, 1975), Ooh! La-La and Selle Ou Storie (1975, 1983), 'n Seder val in Waterkloof, Paradise is Closing Down (Pieter-Dirk Uys, 1977).
Awards, etc
In 1975 won the Computicket Award as Best Actress for Selle Ou Storie.
Nominated for Best Supporting Actress in 1977 for 'n Seder val in Waterkloof.
