Story Theatre refers to two titles: a play by Paul Sils and a production devised by Jill Girard and Joyce Levinsohn.

The original text
It is a set of modern adaptations of Grimm and Aesop folk fables. It opened on Broadway at the Ambassador Theatre on October 26, 1970.

1978: Presented by Colin Law at His Majesty's Theatre, Johannesburg (March) and at the Rowe Theatre, Pietermaritzburg (April), directed by David Crichton.
1988: Presented by Rhodes University Drama Department directed by Sydney James in March and April.
