Rowe Theatre

Rowe Theatre (also sometimes as Rowe Hall) was a venue in Church Street, Pietermaritzburg, located between the Pietermaritzburg Technical College and Commercial School.

The venue was used as the school hall for assemblies of the Commercial High School.

It was used by the Herald Players and Noreen Barstow School of Dance.

1951: The Linden Tree (Natal Society Drama Group)

1960s: Snow White (ballet, Noreen Barstow School of Dance)

1972: Jack and the Beanstalk (Herald Players)

1976: Puss-in-Boots (Herald Players)

1978: Story Theatre (Colin Law)

1982: Oh Coward! (Pieter Toerien)
