The South African Rock Music Digest

The South African Rock Music Digest is a weekly online, open access e-magazine about South African rock and pop music.

It is also referred to as The SA Rock Digest, the SA Rock Digest, or simply The Digest.

Founded on 27th January 1999 by Brian Currin and Stephen "Sugar" Segerman, it was initially published from 1999 to 2004 to provide information and discussions on the past, present and future of South African rock and pop music and related matters.

It was re-established in 2009 as The South African Rock Encyclopaedia, as part of Sugar Music, embracing social media tools and platforms.
