Nina graduated from the Stellenbosch University Drama Department in 1998 with a BA Drama (Hons).

As a student she acted in Paradox (1996), Electra (1997), Lunch Girls (1997), Baal (1998), Die Vryerige Spook (1998).
In her professional career she has appeared on stage in productions of Varknek (1999), Spanner (2001), Balle (2004), Plofstof by Pieter Jacobs (KKNK, 2004), Festen (2007), 'n Ander Tongval (Vleis, Rys & Aartappels, 2008), Nommerpas (2015).
