1991: Tooth and Nail was extensively reworked for the Standard Bank National Arts Festival, 1991, by Carol Steinberg and Malcolm Purkey. Directed by Purkey, assisted by Carol Steinberg, starring Daphney Hlomuka, Grace Mahlaba, Ramolao Makhene, Tale Motsepe, Orna Shifren, Raphael Vilakazi, Megan Kruskal, Gys de Villiers, Patrick Shai and Francois Venter. Design and lighting design Sarah Roberts, puppets Handspring Puppet Company, musical director Orna Shifren.
