He made a name for himself as an exceptionally talented performer on film and TV.

Performed in A Christmas Carol (as “Scrooge” with PACT Playwork), Die Kersietuin (as “Epichodow” with PACT Playwork), The Great Wopperloop (as “Mr Superawful” with PACT Playwork), Macbeth (with PACT in 1980), Die Onverwagte Besoeker (in 1980), The School for Scandal (in 1980), Oh What a Lovely War! (in 1980), A Midsummer Night's Dream (in 1981), Royal Hunt of the Sun (with PACT in 1981) and in The Real Thing (for Pieter Toerien).

Other roles include The Business of Murder for Pieter Toerien in 1986, John in Mamet's Oleanna (Baxter Theatre, 1994 Fleur du Cap Theatre Award, Best Actor). Heel Against the Head (1997).
