WELLS, Christopher (1961-2005) was a South African actor.

He studied at the University of Natal (Durban) in the early 1980s.

On stage he has appeared in Macbeth, Over the Hill, Night and Day, Exit the King, Under the Oaks, ID, A Tale of Two Cities, The Little Foxes, Travelling Shots, During the Fall, Hapgood, A Piece of My Heart.

His feature film credits include: Asterix in Britain (1986), Enemy Unseen (1989) and Every Night and Twice on Sundays (1998).

Awards

He received a regional Vita Award (Natal) in 1993 as Best Supporting Actor for his role in A Piece of My Heart.
