Career

Member of the Johan Fourie company from 1957 to 1962. Joined CAPAB in 1967 after having studied at the University of Stellenbosch.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He had roles in Harde Stene, Voëlvry, Ken Jy die Melkweg, Die Laaste Aand, Richard III, Tartuffe (1968), Die Vader (1969), Die Koning Sterf (1969), August August, August (1970), Die Blindes (1970), Titus Andronicus (1970), Dokter teen Wil en Dank (1970), Hond se Gedagte (1971), Oom Wanja (1972), Drie Susters (1976), Die Nag van Legio (1976), Cyrano de Bergerac, Die Paddas (1977), Kyk Hoe Hol Hulle (1983).

He participated in CAPAB's programmes for schools and libraries.

Film work include In Die Lente Van Ons Liefde (1967), Erfgenaam and Vlug van die Seemeeu and on television he appeared in the series Opdrag and the drama Die Skaam Man.
