The Martian Chronicles [1] is a 1950 collection of science fiction short stories by American author Ray Bradbury (1920-2012) [2]. It has been adapted for theatre, film, television and radio by various authors over the years.

The original text
The short stories chronicle the colonization of Mars by humans fleeing from a troubled and eventually atomically devastated Earth, and the conflict between aboriginal Martians and the new colonists. (Wikipedia)

Terrence Shank created a "performance version" of The Martian Chronicles, which he staged for PACT in 1988.
