Suite in Three Keys is a trilogy of plays by Noël Coward (1899-1973)[1]

The original text
Consisting of three plays, two short and one full-length: A Song at Twilight, Shadows of the Evening and Come into the Garden Maud.
They are all set in the same suite in a luxury Swiss hotel and have a single character common to all three: the Italian waiter.
The trilogy was first presented in London in 1966, starring Coward, Lilli Palmer and Irene Worth.
Translations and adaptations
Performance history in South Africa
1968: Directed by Mavis Taylor for CAPAB, set designed by Keith Anderson. Opened at the Hofmeyr Theatre on 10 December 1968. The cast: Zoë Randall, Elliot Playfair, David Goatham, Cynthia Klette, Yvonne Bryceland, Michael Atkinson, Lucille Gillwald.
