There are two South African plays by this name.

1. Wees is the translation into Afrikaans by Hennie van Greunen of Orphans.

2. Wees is a play by George Weideman. One-act. Cast: mixed (teenagers).

The original text

Published in Alles op die spel by Klipbok, 1991.

The play touches on topics such as sexual harassment.

Gustav Gerdener, Andre Weideman and Nicola Hanekom performed in Wees at Aardklop in 2011.
