Brigadoon [1] is an American stage musical with a book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe.

The original text

A play about two American tourists who stumble upon Brigadoon, a mysterious Scottish village that appears for only one day every 100 years; one tourist soon falls in love with a young woman from Brigadoon.

It was first staged at the Ziegfeld Theatre on Broadway in 1947 and in London's West End in 1949.
