A short play about an arrogant rabbit and a wily tortoise and the new dam built by the animals.
The character Hasie Kalbassie was first introduced in the popular South African story collection Die mooiste Afrikaanse sprokies by Pieter W. Grobbelaar (), published by Human & Rousseau in 1968.
The text of the play is unpublished. A copy of the typed text held in the Drama Department archive, University of Stellenbosch.
