The original text
This is the printed version of a text by Malan Steyn, a substantial reworking of Malan's earlier play Eet Alles, which had been performed at aardklop and the KKNK, and was the runner up for the 2004 AngloGold Ashanti/Aardklop Smeltkoersprys. The play deals with a group of friends who come together after the death of Johannes Kerkorrel, lead singer of the Gereformeerde Blues Band, in 2002. They reminisce about the Voëlvry Movement[1] of the 1980s.
