André Schwartz (196*-). Singer, actor. Singer of popular Afrikaans music. Some hit songs include: Lief vir alles hier, Ritme Deur Die Nag and Ek wil jou nooit weer sien.

He has performed in Die Keiser (as Markies di Nolli, UTS 1983), Ekskuus vir die Wals (1983), 3-D (1984), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (as Joseph, CAPAB 1989).
André is probably best known for his role as the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera.
