Performance history in South Africa
1868: Performed by the Le Roy-Duret Company on 13 January in the Harrington Street Theatre, Cape Town, by the newly assembled Le Roy and Duret company (with actors recruited in London by Le Roy the previous year), with The Merchant of Venice (Shakespeare) and a dance by Miss Clara.
