He was born in Pretoria.
Youth
Training
In 2007 he completed his fourth year at Pali (Performing Arts Lifestyle Institute).
Career
South African television actor best known for his role as Alexander in the MNet television series Egoli: Plek van Goud and the feature film Egoli: the Movie. Other feature films include: Bakgat! (2008); Bakgat2 (2010) Die Wonderwerker (2012); Angus Buchan's Ordinary People (2012).
In 2012 he was the film and television lecturer at Pali.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
After finishing his third year at Pali, he joined the cast of Binnelanders. In 2007 he accepted a permanent role on the soapie Villa Rosa.
He performed in various theatre productions including Paulus, Noises Off and Vaselinetjie. In 2010 he starred in the sitcom Die Uwe Pottie Potgieter and in 2017 in the drama series Erfsondes as "Jaco".
On stage he has appeared in Somewhere on the Border (as conscript Trevor Mowbray), 2011-2012.
He heads the Nomad theatre group in Pretoria
