Biography
Born in Kuils River, went to school in Johannesburg. Studied at University of Stellenbosch Drama Department, graduating in the early 2000s.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
As a student he acted in Alias in Wonderland (1999), Jan en die Play Station (1999).
Some of his numerous performances in his professional career on stage were in Die Kaptein se Tier as the young Fugard (2010), Al Dobberend (Tertius Kapp), Balle, Die Goue Seun, Mamma Medea (2003), Mooi Maria, Raaiselkind, The Crucible, Hamlet, Vieux Carré, The Homecoming, Spanner, Japes, Terre'Blanche, Sagmoedige Neelsie, Boks (Vleis, Rys en Aartappels, 2008), Verkeer (Vleis, Rys en Aartappels, 2008), Altyd Jonker, Lot, Babbel, Betésda, Innie Rof (2015). He also performed in the TV production Fynskrif in 2019. Also in Dwaalster and Binnelanders
He wrote the play Geen hierjy nie!, performed in 2003.
He is a founding member of Tart 'n Koggel Produksies.
Roles in feature films such as The Bang-Bang Club, 'n Man Soos My Pa.
Awards, etc.
Won a Fiesta prize as best supporting actor in Lot, 2012.
