Something To Talk About is a short play by Eden Philpotts (1862-1960)[1]

The original text

A one-act play about a bored Sydney family who are being robbed by a thief named Wolf on Christmas morning, and they start fantasizing about this event and try to help the thief rob them completely.

Published in Modern Short Plays. 1930, University of London Press, Ltd.(pp.105-138)

Translations and adaptations

Translated in to Afrikaans and adapted for radio as Iets Om Oor Te Praat by Nic de Jager, for broadcast by the SABC on Afrikaans Stereo's programme Kleinteater. Broadcast on 14 March, 1995, directed by Eben Cruywagen. Repeated on 15 March, 1995.
