Biography
Born in Somerset West in the Cape Province, on 28 Oktober 1940, raised in Stellenbosch and studied at the University of Pretoria.
Worked as a broadcaster and director for the Afrikaans Service of the SABC from 1966 to 1974, before becoming a freelance producer, director and actor.
Today he lives in Somerset West and makes documentary programmes, music programmes and works as a professional photographer.

Nic de Jager is 'n Suid-Afrikaanse akteur. Hy verwerf bekendheid in 1981 vir die rol van Jack Hind in die komedie The Gods Must Be Crazy. Hy is ook bekend vir sy optrede in Suid-Afrika se eerste TV-drama, Dubbele Alibi, wat op die eerste aand van TV-uitsendings in Suid-Afrika op 5 Januarie 1976 gebeeldsend is. Hy speel ook in die eerste Afrikaanse TV-reeks, Dokter Dokter.
