The original text
A groundbreaking political cabaret, (a specific genre referred to as kabaret in Afrikaans by Aucamp) about the political crisis of the country under Apartheid, first performed in 1980.
Text and lyrics by Hennie Aucamp with music by Jannie Hofmeyr, Laurika Rauch, Lettie Pretorius, Enrique Breytenbach, Louis van Rensburg, J.C. Stemmet and Jan de Wet.
The text first published by Tafelberg Uitgewers in 1980.

Thom Theatre in September, directed by Herman Pretorius, with Dup du Plessis (MC), Hélène Truter (his Spouse) and Koba Wicomb, Jeannine Wolhuter, Johan Rademan, Gaynor Calitz, Jannie Hofmeyr, Edie Henn, June van Merch, Herman Binge, Randall Wicomb, Anton Smith, Niel le Roux, Davida Day, Theresa Marais, Sharon Theron, Johann van Heerden, Kobus Hanekom and Pamela Moag. Orchestra led by Koba Wicomb, choreography by Esther Nasser, costumes by Elaine Aucamp, lighting by Emile Aucamp.
