Emma Bekker (19**- ) is a South African author, scriptwriter and poet.
Biography
She was raised in in Bulawayo in Zimbabwe, Newcastle and Standerton, then studied at the University of Pretoria.
She worked for Kappenbekker Films as a TV scriptwriter and director between 1995 and 2004, after which she founded a The Body Sculpting Studio in Johannesburg.
Her debut album of poetry, Skryn, was published in 2015.
Play and TV texts
She has written a number of cabaret texts, and adapted Johann Rossouw's Afrikaans translation the novel Tous les Matins du Monde as a stage performance, called Elke Oggend van die Wêreld.
