My Plaas se Naam is Vergenoeg is a play by George Weideman (1947-2008).

Sometimes referred to simply as Vergenoeg.

The original text

The play was written in 2003, and was the first overall winner of the Sanlam-prys vir Afrikaanse Teater in 2004 when performed by the University of Stellenbosch.

Published by Praag Uitgewers, 2005.

Performance history in South Africa

2004: Presented by U.S. Drama in the H.B. Thom Theatre in 2004, directed by Johan Esterhuizen, starring Riaan Visman, Ralston Oliphant and others.
