'n Seun na my Hart is a one-act play by Ingrid Jonker (her only play).

The original text
Originally written in the 1950s, the play was substantially rewritten when Jonker lived in Johannesburg.
Published in Voort met die Spel by Human & Rousseau and in Iewers Langs die Pad by Van Schaik.
Performance history in South Africa
1994: Staged by PACOFS in the Observatory Theatre in Bloemfontein in October 1994, directed by Marion Holm, with Marga van Rooy, Maurice Carpede and Nomsa Xaba as the second half of an evening of Jonker's works. The first half was entitled Om Myself Weg te Bêre in My Woord, a selection of Jonker’s (mostly autobiographical) poetry compiled and directed by Marga van Rooy and presented by the cast.
