Judith Krummeck (19**-). Actress, radio and television personality.

Biography
Her brother was the late Peter Krummeck. She emigrated to the United States, where she lives with her husband, Douglas Blackstone.
Youth
Training
She studied at the University of Cape Town Drama Department devoting special attention to movement.
Career
She was a member of CAPAB's Youth theatre Company until 1977.
She has taught Movement and Speech at University of Stellenbosch Drama Department (pre-1982).
She presented the SAFM programme Artspeak from March 1995.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
As a student she appeared on stage in The Philanthropist in the Little Theatre, Cape Town, in 1975.
For her first year out of drama school Judith worked exclusively in Afrikaans for CAPAB and in the Transvaal with Schalk Jacobsz in Faan se Trein.
She has also performed in The Evening of our Time (at the Baxter Theatre), Beauty and the Beast (at The Space), with Compass Productions directed by Helen Houghton (The Space, 1978), Romeo and Juliet (at Maynardville for CAPAB), The Robe, Scathkadie the Sorceress, Old Moore's Almanac, The Bright White Flower and Offending the Audience.
