Hello Out There [1] is a 1941 one-act play by Armenian-American dramatist and author William Saroyan (1908–1981) [2].

Staged at The Space (Cape Town) in 1977 as a lunch-hour production, directed by Dorrian McLaren with Fiona Baigrie, Charles Comyn, Andrea Fine, Joe Gibbon and Robin Smith.
Directed by Liske Kotzé for a lunchtime performance by a group of students of the University of Stellenbosch Drama Department in 1979 (?). Lochner de Kock, Pamela Moag, Anton Smith and Wilna Engelbrecht were in the cast. Lighting by Lourens Strydom, sound by Lilian Jonck.
