She studied at the National School of the Arts, Johannesburg (1988 - 1990) and the Tshwane University of Technology (1992 - 1995)

Her life partner is the actor Lawrence Joffe.

Besides extensive acting and puppetry work for Arepp Theatre for Life, she has also done voicework, dubbing, children's theatre, corporate and industrial theatre and production work.
