Lesley appeared in a number of productions, including: Offending the Audience (1974), The Crucible (PACT, 1975), A Flea in her Ear (PACT, 1976), Falstaff (PACT, 1976), Fangs (PACT, 1977), Hamlet (as “Gertrude”, PACT, 1978), Long Day's Journey into Night (The Company, 1978), East (1978), Cincinatti – Scenes from City Life (The Company, 1979), Mothers and Fathers (Toerien-Firth, 1980), A Day in the Death of Joe Egg (The Company, 1980), Cathleen in The Glass Menagerie (Upstairs at the Market, 1981), Brecht on Brecht (Market Theatre, 1981), Wings (Market Theatre, 1981), An Arabian Night (Baxter Theatre, 1981), Danny and the Deep Blue Sea (the Laager, 1986), Duet for One (the Laager, 1994).
