A South African rock-musical comedy created by Ken Leach in a workshop process for PACT. About a Joburg-based vampire who loses his fangs.

Performance history in South Africa

1977: First produced in 1977 by PACT at the Arena, directed by Ken Leach with Michael Richard, Paul Slabolepszy, Annelisa Weiland, Lesley Nott and Bill Flynn. A subsequent PACT production directed by Ken Leach at the Alexander Theatre included Frantz Dobrowsky in the cast.

1981 and 1982: Other productions followed in 1981 and 1982 with new casts on each occasion.

2006: Revised, produced and directed by Tim Plewman in 2006, with Bill Flynn, Michael Richard and Tobie Cronjé at the State Theatre, Montecasino Theatre and Baxter Theatre. Music composed by Bobby Louw, musical director Janine Neethling.
