Wie de hel is Johnny P. Adams en waarom sing hy die Blues? ("Who the hell is Johnny P. Adams and why does he sing the Blues?") is a play by Melvin Whitebooi (1956–2011) and Joseph Mitchell.

The original text

The incomplete copy of a typed play text of the play was found in the Stellenbosch Drama Department archives in 2022. A handwritten note on the script suggests it may also have been referred to or performed as Wie de drommel is Johnny P. Adams en waarom sing hy die Blues? on occasion. (Shorter version of the title also found: Wie de Hel is Johnny en waarom sing hy die Blues?)
