What abou' de lo? ("What about the law") is a play adapted from the poem by Adam Small (1936-2016).

The poem is about love across the racial divide.

Performance history in South Africa

1980: Performed with Joanie Galant at the Baxter Studio Theatre as part of a double bill, directed by Peter Braaf, with Bertram Adams, Carmen Adams, Clarence Adams, Agnesia Braaf, Peter Braaf, Sandra Braaf, Paul Cookson.

1981: Performed again with Joanie Galant at Upstairs at the Market in July, as part of a double bill and listed in Schwartz (1988) as Joanie Galant and What About De Lo. Directed by Peter Braaf, with Phalencia Adams, Agnesia Braaf, Peter Braaf, Anette Braaf, Sandra Braaf, Paul Cookson, Benjamin de Kock, Warren Peterson and Ivan Sylvester.
